Can’t beat a bit of Tarby!

TARBY COMES TO TOWN!

Jimmy Tarbuck performs in Middlesbrough this November

Legendary comedian Jimmy Tarbuck is bringing his one man tour to Middlesbrough. He will be performing for one night only at Middlesbrough Theatre on Sunday 19 November.

The show is called ‘This Is My Life’. It’s fair to say that Tarby, as he is so affectionately known to generations of entertainment lovers, has had an extraordinary life. In the show he will talk about his school days, where he was a classmate of John Lennon, through his incredible rise to be at the top of the comedy game.

Most will fondly remember Tarby hosting weekend variety shows. Sunday Night At The Palladium and Live From Her Majesty’s are the two best known, with both regularly attracting tens of millions of viewers. Tarby also hosted a number of successful – and very popular – game shows, including Winner Takes All and the at the time groundbreaking Tarby’s Frame Game.

Something that tends to be overlooked about Tarby is his charity work. He has always been astonishingly generous with his time and talent, raising awareness and money for a wide range of good causes.

For all of his success on TV nothing can compare the experience of seeing Tarby live. He really is in his element on a stage in front of an audience. This makes Jimmy Tarbuck live at Middlesbrough Theatre a truly unmissable event.

Tickets are ₤23, and are available from the Middlesbrough Theatre website –
