An exciting adventure for all the family and Centre Square is the place to be as Middlesbrough Christmas Lights Switch On and Reindeer Parade combine for a most magical celebration. Hundreds of costumed schoolchildren will bring Santa’s Workshop to life through Middlesbrough town centre.

12 Noon Come early! Entertainment including music and a Christmas market in Centre Square begins from noon.

3pm The Reindeer Parade and Community Carnival leaves from Middlesbrough Town Hall.

5pm The fabulous Christmas Lights Switch On with Cleveland Centre Main Stage.

Heart North East Breakfast Show presenters Justin and Kelly will be the amazing hosts on the Cleveland Centre Main Stage with special guests Cattle & Cane! Join in for unmissable family fun and a chance to win your £500 family Christmas wishlist! Wouldnt that be the perfect treat?

The Cleveland Centre will keep their Grange Road doors entrance open until 6pm on the day of the Christmas Lights Switch On to allow access to the car park for those who can’t use the stairs.

Road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place for this event so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get into town and pick your perfect viewing spot!
