Middlesbrough Town Hall is one of the best loved venues in the area. For over 100 years this iconic building has provided evenings of excitement and entertainment. Comedians, classical music and the very best of contemporary music have all taken to the famous stages in the building. The big question in the area is when will they again?
It’s been quite a while since the Town Hall closed its doors for some repair and restoration work. Although this work is going to continue for a little while yet we here at Middlesbrough Events are delighted to confirm that the venue is not too far off being ready.
The Town Hall will re-open during Spring 2018. This is fantastic news for all of us who love the warm, welcoming atmosphere the venue always has. Some major acts have already been confirmed for the fully restored Town Hall. The ever popular Sarah Millican is appearing in June 2018, whilst the always controversial Russell Brand takes to the stage during July 2018.
Bookings are now open for both of these events. These two events are expected to sell out far in advance, so you need to be quick. Please visit www.middlesbroughtownhallonline.co.uk to book, or call 01642 729 729.
The restoration work being carried out on Middlesbrough Town Hall is at the heart of the ambitions ₤500million regeneration project taking place in Teesside. Restoring this beloved building to its former glory is being done to ensure it perfectly serves a better future for us all.
Whilst the closure has allowed many of us to experience other venues in the region everyone is looking forward to being back at Middlesbrough Town Hall. As ever we will bring you the details of major events planned for the place and hope to see you at them!
