Wednesday 16 August 2017 is the date to remember for a night you’ll never forget. In one of the booking coups of the year living legends Paper Lace are playing the Beechwood Easterside & District Club.

Paper Lace had a worldwide hit in 1974 with Billy Don’t Be A Hero. The song remains a staple of classic rock radio stations around the world, particularly in the USA. Other big hits you’ll remember are The Black Eyed Boys and The Night Chicago Died.

Like all classic bands the line up has changed over the years, but the heart and soul of the group remains. Original vocalist Carlo Paul Santanna and guitarist Chris Raynor play the hits today with the same passion they did back in the 70s.

Playing at the Beechwood Easterside& District Club is the band coming full circle. Paper Lace toured the Working Men’s Club circuit for a few years before appearing on Opportunity Knocks in 1973. Entertainment is the number one thing the band delivers, with rave reviews following every performance.

The concert starts at 8pm and is strictly adults only, with no under 18s allowed. Tickets are a bargain ₤5 each and are available from the club. For more information call the Club on 01642 311 304 or 01642 314 545. Details are also available on the Club website,

Paper Lace at the Beechwood Easterside & District Club is going to be a once in a lifetime event for many fans of the band. Get there and party the night away!
