We have taken a look around the area to find things happening for you to try out this next week, kids maybe at school but we still have a few ideas for you and theres also a MASSIVE weekend coming up in Stewarts Park that you MUST get in to your diary.
Monday 8th June 2015
Enjoy an evening with two of this year’s Read Regional authors. Tim Leach retells the story of Croesus in The Last King of Lydia, a richly imagined world, full of vivid description, action and thought provoking ideas. Lauren Owen’s novel The Quick is set in a vividly imagined Victorian high society. It is as much about the brilliantly researched period detail as it is about the horror at the heart of this society’s darkest secret.
This is running from 7pm to 8.30pm and will cost £5.00.
